Privacy Policy

1. Information we process

PocketScan Pro processes photos and information you choose to use in the app, including document photos, ID photos, crop corners, corner radius settings, paper size, layout position, and export options. This information is used to scan, correct, lay out, save history, and export documents on your device.

If you use camera capture, save-to-Photos, or iCloud sync, iOS may request camera, photo library, or iCloud permissions. These permissions are managed by iOS and can be changed in the Settings app.

2. Local processing and sync

Document detection, corner editing, and layout are designed to run primarily on your device. History may be stored locally. If you enable iCloud sync, compressed image data, history data, and layout information may sync through your private iCloud database across your devices.

3. Purchases and subscriptions

Purchases, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are handled by Apple. The app may read subscription or lifetime purchase status to unlock Pro benefits. Free version save and export usage is recorded in the device Keychain so the app can determine the free allowance on that device. We do not receive your full payment card number or Apple ID password.

4. What we do not do

• We do not sell your document photos or scanned content.
• We do not use your scanned content for advertising profiles.
• We do not publicly disclose your scan history without explanation and consent.

5. Retention and deletion

You can delete history records in the app. Local data is removed after deletion. If iCloud sync is enabled, synchronized deletion may take time to complete depending on iCloud status and Apple service processing.

6. Third-party services

PocketScan Pro may use Apple services such as StoreKit, iCloud, Camera, Photos, and sharing features. Those services are governed by Apple terms and privacy policies.

7. Children’s privacy

PocketScan Pro is not designed to collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us to request deletion.
